DUBAI: Leading industry experts from around the world will descend on Dubai on November 14th for Dubai Chamber’s upcoming International Conference where they will share their unique and valuable insights on key trends impacting organisational growth and success.
The high-profile conference, entitled “Drivers of Growth in Organisations of the 21st Century: Harnessing the Human Factor,” will officially launch the 10th cycle of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award.
Held under theme “Happiness and Positivity”, the event will be attended by H.E. Ohood Al Roumi, UAE Minister of State for Happiness and Wellbeing, and other local and international speakers who will highlight some of the most pressing challenges faced by organisations today, as well as effective strategies to drive efficiency and productivity.
H.E. Al Roumi will give a keynote speech on “The Importance of Happiness & Positivity for the Future of Organisations.” She will highlight the importance of nurturing happiness and positivity within organisation, and their all-encompassing impact on the bottom line.
H.E. Hamad Buamim, President and CEO of Dubai Chamber and Chairman of the Steering Committee for the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award, will give a special address that will explore key factors driving organisational growth in a fast-changing business world, as well as the importance of harnessing the human factor in achieving business objectives.
Silicon Valley-based management consultant and best-selling author John Hagel will join as a guest speaker. As Co-Chairman of Center for the Edge and Managing Director of Deloitte Consulting, he will examine how organisations are dealing with continuous disruption by staying in tune with changing consumer needs.In addition, he will speak about the main drivers and capabilities that help businesses grow and prosper during challenging times.
Leading the session entitled “Building an Agile Workforce to Manage Work-Pressure and Drive Sustainable Growth”, Sushant Upadhyay, Senior Client Partner, Korn Ferry Hay Group – UAE, will explain the importance of developing a resilient workforce that is able to adapt to unprecedented changes and evolving customer expectations.
Morris Pentel, Customer Experience Designer and Chairman of the Customer Experience Foundation – UK, will speak about new technologies and innovations that have reshaped the customer experience, and share his advice on how organisations can work to better understand the needs of the modern consumer.
UK-based Future of Work and Leadership Expert Simon Walker will lead a session covering the importance of “Leveraging Organisational Capabilities Ahead of Competition”, which will explore ways that successful companies continue to innovate to stay ahead of the competition. He will present effective strategies which can be used to maximise innovation capabilities and drive growth.
The conference will conclude with an interactive panel discussion with the global speakers which will focus on how business leaders can create future-ready companies that harness the human factor to enhance their competitive advantage.
The International Conference, organised by Dubai Chamber, supports the objectives of the National Programme for Happiness & Positivity and the UAE Vision 2021.The conference will be held at Dubai’s Emirates Towers and provide an ideal platform for small and large organisations alike to learn applicable best-in-class business practices from leading industry experts.The event will attended by dignitaries, distinguished local and international top executives and guest speakers, while it will be open to the UAE and GCC business communities.
A member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the MRM Business Award was initiated in 2005 to recognise and celebrate the success of organisations that contribute to the sustainable economic development of the UAE and the wider GCC region.
The MRM Business Innovation Award, launched by Dubai Chamber in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Economy in 2015, aims to encourage companies across the GCC to embrace innovation. The award places a strategic focus on transforming business models to meet current and future challenges.
