DUBAI: Yousuf Al Gurg was named Emerging Emirati Entrepreneur at the 2017 Enterprise Agility Awards during a prestigious ceremony in Dubai. Al Gurg founded Gravity Calisthenics Gym in 2015 under the Tejar Dubai entrepreneurship development programme. The business venture is the UAE’s first and only gym dedicated to Parkour and calisthenics training, and provides a more functional, healthy, and effective way to improve fitness compared to regular weight lifting.
Gravity Calisthenics Gym was chosen by Emirates Youth Council as one of a few selected businesses in the UAE to receive the “Done by Youth” seal. Al Gurg has 8 years’ experience as a professional football player in Al Wasl FC, and he is also a Level 1 Calisthenics trainer accredited by the World Calisthenics Organization. News Desk
