DUBAI: Head to Bollywood Parks Dubai on 26 January for a concert celebrating the 25-year-long career of A. R. Rahman. The Indian composer and musician will be performing at a specially-curated Hindi show, which will feature some of Rahman’s greatest hits, as well as 20 singers and musicians from India and around the world. Rahman will be joined on stage by artists including Benny Dayal, Mohini Dey, and Neeti Mohan.
The Journey – Celebrating Music is a musical ensemble curated by Oscar & Grammy awards winner AR Rahman featuring over 20 performers across vocalists & musicians primarily from India and various parts of the world. The entire concert spanning 150 minutes shall be led by AR Rahman himself, of which he shall perform for approximately 120 minutes.
Rahman is an Academy Award-winning musician, and has worked on films including Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours. He’s also worked with international bands and artists such as Mick Jagger, Dido, and The Pussycat Dolls. Die-hard fans will be able to purchase VVIP tickets for AED4000, and the first 25 ticket-holders will win the chance to meet the man himself.
