DUBAI: Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Founding Chairman, Al Habtoor Group, held talks with His Excellency Low Pit Chen, the new Consul-General of the Republic of Singapore in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. The meeting took place at the Al Habtoor Group head office on Thursday 25 January 2018.
His Excellency Low Pit Chin told Al Habtoor about the business and economic climate in Singapore. They also discussed the economic climate in the United Arab Emirates and the evolution of Dubai in particular.
Al Habtoor said, “The UAE is the land of opportunity. People from all over the world flock here because of the investment potential it offers. Dubai is an ever-evolving, world-class city. This is why I have invested so much here.” He added, “Dubai has invented itself as a regional hub for business, financial markets, entertainment and so much more.”
Prior to moving to Dubai, HE Low Pit Chen was Deputy Director General, Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Singapore. News Desk
