DUBAI: The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently hosted a workshop at its premises which provided Chamber members and businesses in Dubai with hands-on training in Google Analytics to boost website performance and improve return on investment of marketing campaigns.
The training covered the basics of intelligent data collection and analysis, and educated companies on how to use Google Analytics tools to measure website traffic and gain valuable insights about their visitors.
During the event, participants learned how to combine offline sales data with their digital analytics data, while they were also given an opportunity to become Google Certified and earn qualification in Google Analytics.
Dr. Belaid Rettab, Senior Director of the Economic Research & Sustainable Business Development Sector at Dubai Chamber, stressed the importance of organising events that assist and guide local companies in leveraging digital channels and tools to enhance their competitive edge in a fast-changing business world.
The digital marketing landscape is evolving rapidly, he explained, adding that it is absolutely crucial for businesses today to manage their online presence and use data and analytics to make informed decisions. He pointed out that the Chamber has partnered with leading technology companies in the past to provide companies with the right knowledge, skills and tools they need to maximise their online potential.
The training was offered as part of Dubai Chamber’s “Trusted Member” Scheme, which is designed to facilitate companies’ access to practical e-Commerce solutions and useful digital marketing tools.The Scheme also gives companies in Dubai an opportunity to earn a “Trusted Member” Label which enhances their online credibility and exposure on a global level.
Dubai Chamber is planning to host its next digital marketing training on March 21st 2018 at its headquarters, that will cover several practical aspects related to creating and managing Facebook Ads for businesses. News Desk
