MUSCAT: Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, will be exhibiting next week at the Arabian Travel Market, a key travel and tourism event held at the Dubai World Trade Centre on 22-25 April.
Acting Chief Executive Officer Abdulaziz Al Raisi, Chief Commercial Officer Paul Starrs, and Senior Vice President of International Sales Ihab Sorial will all be present to welcome visitors to Oman Air’s stand. The airline’s presence at ATM provides the perfect platform for Oman Air to showcase its latest products and award winning service, and it is anticipated the show will be yet another great success for the airline. The Oman Air stand will reflect the airline’s commitment to quality service, and is expecting a large number of visitors including customers and major tour operators.
Oman Air has had a longstanding presence at ATM, having participated for 13 consecutive years. This year the stand at the exhibition features a model of the First Class mini suite found on board Oman Air’s 787-9 aircraft. HE Maitha Al Mahrouqi will be present for the inaugural of the mini suite and visitors to the stand will be able to see first-hand some of the features available to guests flying First Class with Oman Air. The suite includes a comfortable bed, electronically controlled privacy divider and an in suite minibar.
Seen as one of the travel industry’s most important exhibitions for international and regional carriers, ATM provides an excellent opportunity for Oman Air to connect with travel trade peers, existing customers and make new contacts. ATM is also the ideal occasion to work alongside the Oman Tourist Board, which promotes the Sultanate as a premier tourist destination. This year ATM is expected to draw large numbers of visitors, including government officials, aviation industry specialists, tourism boards and representatives from local and international media.
2018 has been an exciting year for Oman Air so far, and the airline continues to go from strength to strength with its strategic expansion plans and the launch of new routes worldwide. By the end of 2018, the airline will have taken delivery of eight new aircraft, which includes five Boeing 737 MAX and three brand new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. Furthermore, Oman Air has also announced three new routes set to launch later this year; Istanbul in June, Casablanca in July, and Moscow in October. Furthermore, the airline will resume operations to Male from the Winter Schedule 2018. March also saw the start of operations from the new Passenger Terminal at Muscat International Airport, and as a key stakeholder, Oman Air is proud to have played a major part in this momentous occasion in the Sultanate’s history.
Oman Air is delighted to participate in this year’s Arabian Travel Market, and the airline’s presence offers the airline another positive opportunity to promote the Oman Air product to an international audience.
