KARACHI: Hum Mart (Private) Limited, a subsidiary of Hum Network Limited, went live today with its online grocery store HumMart.com. HumMart is a grocery products web store which aims at saving users from the hassle of going out and buying everyday necessities. The online store brings to you different categories such as biscuits and chocolates, breakfast and dairy, grocery and Staples, beverages, baby and kids and Pet Care. HumMart will be initially delivering in Karachi only.
In an event at Hum Network Limited office, Ms. Sultana Siddiqui, President Hum Network Limited, placed the first order on the website. Mr. Duraid Qureshi, CEO Hum Network Limited, said that getting into online business is part of the diversification strategy of Hum Network Limited. “We intend to stay focused and are starting with our grocery segment in Karachi before expanding to other cities and categories.”
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Malik Faisal Qayyum, Co-founder & CEO HumMart, said that HumMart will be a very customer centric company. “We will focus to give customers the most convenient shopping experience in Pakistan. We intend to focus on the complete customer journey of our customers, starting with ordering quality products at competitive pricing, on time delivery and no questions asked return policy.
HumMart aims to evolve the grocery service industry in Pakistan and we aim to target the people who lead a busy lifestyle to shift them from the traditional method of grocery procurement to a more advance online mode. We will ensure a hassle-free shopping experience for our customers, so that they can spend valuable time somewhere else.
Mr. Faisal explained that HumMart.com will deliver free groceries next day for any order of Rs. 1000 and above and that they were starting with non- perishable goods. However, perishable goods like fruits and vegetables will be added to the portfolio within a month. Similarly, the option of express delivery will also be launched soon. PR
