Bangladeshi culture, heritage, natural beauties and tourists’ attractions highlighted in ATM 2018

DUBAI: Bangladesh Tourism Board with the assistance of Bangladesh Consulate General in Dubai organized a Press Conference in the Media Centre of Arabian Travel Market 2018, a famous tourism exhibition in the Middle East and North African Region, which is being currently held in Dubai World Trade Center, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Hon’ble Minister Mr. A.K.M. Shajahan Kamal, MP, made a statement in the press conference focusing on the prospects and potentials of tourism in Bangladesh. Then, he answered the questions of the journalists/ media representatives. The Ambassador of Bangladesh to the UAE Mr. Muhammad Imran, Director of Bangladesh Tourism Board Mr. Nikhil Ranjan Roy along with other officials and the participating tour operators of Bangladesh attended the press conference. Hon’ble Minister focused on the culture, heritage, natural beauties and tourists’ attractions of Bangladesh. He also highlighted the investment opportunities in the tourism sector of Bangladesh and invited Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in this sector.

While answering the questions of the journalists, Hon’ble Minister made it clear saying that Bangladesh is a place of religious harmony and the country welcomes the tourists of all religions across the globe. He also requested the tour operators of the UAE and other Arab countries to work with Bangladeshi tour operators and to create linkage and business networking to explore the ways for operating package tours. Hon’ble Minister made his concluding remarks thanking all and saying that Bangladesh is ready to provide the facilities and services of international standards for the tourists and a secured environment for the investors to invest in the tourism sector in Bangladesh.
