KARACHI: The Cultural Exhibition was organized for home based or domesticated skilled women preparing handicrafts at their homes on Monday, 1st May, 2018 at Karachi Marriott hotel. This exhibition was a success as more than 100 stalls were put-up by skilled women from Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Badin, Matiari and other parts of interior Sindh.
Chief Executive Officer of Khuand Kai and Vice President of Federation Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Syeda Saeeda Bano was speaking to media present at the launch of this exhibition and said; “Pakistani skilled women are doing an excellent job and preparing excellent products at certain cases due to unavailability of marketing resources and funds most of product don’t get the highlight that they should be getting”.
She further said; “this exhibition will serve as a platform for skilled women to introduce their products to local and international market, as we have given them chance to promote their products by displaying at this exhibition”.
Khuand Kai collaborated with FPCCI to organize this cultural exhibition at a local hotel for home based or domesticated skilled women preparing international level handicrafts at their homes. This exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. SM Muneer Founder of United Business Group and was well attended by leading members of business community including ex-President of FPCCI Mr. Zubair Tufail along-with members of FPCCI, members of KCCI, members of KWCCI.
Khuand Kai also gave away ‘Woman Talent Awards’ to leading ladies including Doctor Ishrat Abu-Zar, Yasmeen Taha Incharge Karachi for Ausaaf Magazine, Captain Tarana Saleem, Uzma Sabir, Tasneem Sadaf and members of Karachi Women Chamber of Commerce.
Many participants while expressing their views said; these type of exhibitions will help to promote home based or domesticated skilled women and will enhance their business to next level. BIZ TODAY REPORT
