LONDON: For one flight only British Airways changed its name to Sigala Airways as the celebrity DJ jetted off from London City Airport with a planeful of friends for his Summer of Sigala album launch in Ibiza.
Bruce Fielder, known professionally as Sigala, swapped his music earphones for aviation ear defenders to welcome almost 100 celebrities, friends and fans on board the private charter flight to the party island this morning (May 22).
He also unveiled the special logo for “Sigala Airways” as British Airways let him use his famous signature on the side of the aircraft for the special one-off flight.
The music mogul, who has over 50,000 followers on Twitter, had invited fans to join the exclusive flight and 24-hour party in Ibiza by entering a competition on his social media page. Their prize also included accommodation at Ibiza Rocks Hotel, an invitation to the Sigala launch party at Tatel and tickets to the after party.
During the two-hour flight everyone enjoyed a party atmosphere on board the Embraer 190 aircraft as Sigala entertained his guests and cabin crew served Sweet Bubblin’ and Brighter Daze cocktails, a nod to his Sweet Lovin’ hit single.
