Ministry of Transport and Thai Airways bid farewell to British Cave Divers

BANGKOK: H.E. Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Minister of Transport, together with H.E. Mr. Weerasak Kowsurat, Minister of Tourism and Sports, Mr. Pailin Chuchottaworn, Deputy Transport Minister, Mr. Chatchai Thipsunawee, Transport Ministry Permanent Secretary, H.E. Mr. Brian John Davidson, British Ambassador to Thailand, and Mrs. Usanee Sangsingkeo, Acting President, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), and members of THAI Management, jointly expressed their gratitude and bid farewell to Mr. Robert Charles Harper, a cave diving expert who traveled back to London on board flight TG910 on 5 July 2018, after the missing individuals were found.

THAI provided roundtrip air tickets from London-Bangkok to cave diving experts from the British Cave Rescue Council, United Kingdom and transported their rescue equipment. Mr. Robert Charles Harper was part of the rescue team who helped search for a youth football team of 13 people who were trapped inside the Kun Nam Nang Non Cave in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai province.
