An accomplished lawyer, Haider has spent much of her career closely involved with human rights and social welfare and has had a remarkable career spanning multiple firms and specializations.

Upon her certification as a barrister in 2000, Haider spent many years working as a partner at one of Pakistan’s most prestigious law firms, Hussain and Haider Barristers and Legal Consultants.During her time there, Haider was involved in a wide variety of human rights projects and missions, such as the social and economic empowerment of women, rights for bonded and child laborers, and many other worthy causes. Going on to serve as a member of Pakistan’s National Assembly, she continued to champion causes and legislature focused on improving education, women’s and children’s rights, and the protection of religious, ethnic, and social minorities. Furthermore, Haider actively supported Malala Yousafzai, the world’s youngest Nobel Prize laureate.

Since 2006, Haider has been a regular contributor to several high-profile international publications, including The Washington Post, Newsweek International, Daily Times, The Gulf News and Express Tribune. More recently, she spent seven years working as the senior legal counsel for the UAE’s esteemed Al Futtaim Group, where she gained robust experience in commercial law and compliance. After an accomplished 17 years in the legal, political, and corporate spheres, Haider is ready to join the Fine family, bringing her wide-reaching expertise, tremendous skill set, and deep passion for diversity to the company, with a vision of making Fine Hygienic Holding the best company it can be.
