MANAMA: Rolls-Royce celebrated the delivery of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft to Gulf Air by handing over a fan blade to the carrier on the second day of the Bahrain Air Show. Gulf Air has 10 aircraft on order and currently operates four of the ordered aircraft.

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, already has a fleet of widebody aircraft, the Trent 700-powered Airbus A330.
John Kelly, Rolls-Royce, Senior Vice-President – Customers, Civil Aerospace said: “Gulf Air is an important customer and the addition of the Trent 1000 to its fleet will only further strengthen our successful relationship.
