DUBAI: Emirates Group employees gathered today to commemorate the UAE’s 47th National Day at the group’s headquarters in Dubai. The celebrations kicked off with a cake-cutting ceremony attended by senior management, Emiratis as well as their expat colleagues and family members who enjoyed a wide range of cultural activities throughout the day.
As part of the celebrations, the Emirates Group hosted a number of traditional events and activities, showcasing various elements derived from the cultural heritage of the UAE. These include Al Ayala Dance, a traditional Emirati dance performance, and Henna Art, which is considered an integral part of UAE celebrations. An Emirati-themed photo booth was also set up to give guests the opportunity to try on the traditional UAE National dress.
Kids had a share in this celebration, with a dedicated corner full of entertainment like face painting, learning old traditional games and other activities. The proceedings of this event will be donated to the Emirates Airline Foundation. BIZ TODAY REPORT
