KARACHI: Rohde & Schwarz (R&S) presented its state-of-the-art professional products and systems for signals intelligence and reconnaissance. Rohde & Schwarz solutions are key to ensure the reliable use of the electromagnetic spectrum through spectrum management- and monitoring. The electronics group, headquartered in Munich (Germany), has a global presence and is among the world market leaders in its established business fields.
R&S ARDRONIS
The counter-drone solution from the German electronics company will be presented at IDEAS 2018. The system enables users to identify commercial drone’s control signals early on, and locate the drone’s operator and disrupt the control link.
The threats arising from commercial drones affect, for example, critical infrastructures, VIPs and public events. They range from violation of privacy and industrial espionage to severe attacks. For example, drones can interfere with air traffic control (ATC) signals, seriously jeopardizing airport safety. The R&S ARDRONIS solution is optimized for countering the threats arising from radio-controlled drones. It is an innovative solution for the detection, classification and disruption of drones.
Rohde & Schwarz ELINT system
Another highlight on display will be the Rohde & Schwarz ELINT solution. Created with a focus on user-friendliness and comprehensive functionality, the system is optimized for detecting, monitoring and analyzing advanced radar signals. It was designed to handle challenging signal scenarios and has already proven itself in operation, especially in acquiring weak and LPI signals in dense signal environments and analyzing state-of-the-art multifunctional radars with complex signal structures.
Rohde & Schwarz will also showcase its COMINT/C-ESM solutions, which can be fully customized to meet customer requirements and provide information superiority. These radiomonitoring systems from Rohde & Schwarz are deployed worldwide in land-based mobile and stationary applications and on naval and airborne platforms. The Rohde & Schwarz monitoring and direction finding systems are ideal for stationary, mobile and portable deployment. News Desk
