DUBAI: Dubai Customs signed a strategic partnership with Meraas Group by which Dubai Customs will have designated spaces to run its Carpet & Art Oasis 2019.
The event will take place from 20 January and 14 February 2019 at the City Walk; the urban living concept by Meraas. It’s an important touristic attraction at the heart of the emirate, which means heavy footfall to the Oasis is expected.
The agreement was signed by Farida Fadhil, head of Carpet & Art Oasis organizing committee and Adil Ibrahim, head of public affairs at Meraas.
This strategic partnership is a new step to enhance cooperation between government, semi-government and private entities in Dubai and will link the Carpet & Art Oasis with Dubai Plan 2021.
The Carpet & Art Oasis, in its 24th edition, targets entrepreneurs and encourages them to enter the carpet world, which is rich with opportunities and potential, with the aim of turning Dubai into a global carpet hub. BIZ TODAY MONITOR
