DUBAI: Avivo Group’s New National Medical Centre (NNMC), which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, has set a record of exponential growth from seeing a handful of patients per day to more than 300 patients per day in two decades.
“Over the period of two decades, the NNMC has been built on the tradition of combining high-quality patient care, at an affordable cost. This has led NNMC to provide its patients effective diagnosis, treatment, management, safety and prevention that ultimately added to its trust and helped the Medical Centre grow,” said Dr Dilshaad Ali, Chief Executive Officer of Avivo Group.
The NNMC was established in 1999 as the first clinic in the Mussafah Shabiya residential area with GP, X-Ray Department and a Pharmacy. Today, NNMC is one of the leading multi-specialty Medical Centre with state-of-the-art facilities.
“Since its inception, the clinic has grown to great heights. The NNMC gradually added different specialities and expanded to three floors, and now it’s one of the leading medical centres in Mussafah Shabiya catering to the health needs of the family, corporates and labourers,” said Medical Director Dr Shabbir Hussain Puthawala while speaking at the 20th anniversary event organised at Abu Dhabi’s Novotel Hotel to mark the 20th anniversary of the NNMC.
Specialities offered at the NNMC include Orthopaedic, Paediatric, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Radiology, General Surgery, Urology, Physiotherapy, Dental dept, Ophthalmology, ENT, Internal Medicine and Diabetologist.
The NNMC — which enjoys ISO certification and has CAP-accredited laboratory and Tasneef accreditation – recently opened its new branch in Hameem region, which houses thousands of labourers from various industries in the emirate.
