BANGKOK: Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) will temporarily resume flights to Lahore and Islamabad, Pakistan. Furthermore, the flight schedules for flights to Karachi and Muscat, Pakistan have been adjusted for the period 16-31 July 2019.
Mr. Sumet Damrongchaitham, THAI President, said there is partial opening of Pakistani airspace and restrictions on some routes, while there is some passenger demand for the Company to resume service to Pakistan. Previously, THAI cancelled roundtrip flights to Bangkok-Lahore and Bangkok-Islamabad. As the situation has improved, THAI will temporarily resume flight operations to Lahore and Islamabad, as well as adjust the flight schedule to Karachi and Muscat. Details are as follows:
1. Roundtrip flights from Bangkok-Karachi and Bangkok-Karachi-Muscat
1.1 Four roundtrip flights per week from Bangkok-Karachi on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday
– Flight TG341 from Bangkok-Karachi departs from Bangkok at 19.35 hours and arrives in Karachi at 23.05 hours (local time)
– Flight TG342 from Karachi-Bangkok departs from Karachi at 00.20 hours (local time) and arrives in Bangkok at 07.10 hours
1.2 Three roundtrip flights per week from Bangkok-Karachi-Muscat on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday
– Flight TG507 from Bangkok-Karachi-Muscat departs from Bangkok at 14.10 hours, arrives in Karachi at 17.40 hours (local time), departs from Karachi at 18.40 hours (local time), and arrives in Muscat at 19.30 hours (local time)
– Flight TG508 from Muscat-Karachi-Bangkok departs from Muscat at 20.35 hours (local time), arrives in Karachi at 23.20 hours (local time), departs from Karachi at 00.20 hours (local time), and arrives in Bangkok at 07.10 hours
2. Four roundtrip flights per week from Bangkok-Lahore on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday
– Flight TG345 from Bangkok-Lahore departs from Bangkok at 18.00 hours and arrives in Lahore at 22.30 hours (local time)
– Flight TG346 from Lahore-Bangkok departs from Lahore at 23.40 hours and arrives in Bangkok at 08.00 hours (the following day)
3. Three roundtrip flights per week from Bangkok-Islamabad on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
– Flight TG349 from Bangkok- Islamabad departs from Bangkok at 17.25 hours and arrives in Islamabad at 22.10 hours (local time)
– Flight TG350 from Islamabad-Bangkok departs from Islamabad at 23.20 hours (local time) and arrives in Bangkok at 07.50 hours (the following day)
