KARACHI: The Professional Youth Foundation of Pakistan organized a Youth IT Conference at a local hotel in Karachi in which Nawab Taimur Talpur, Minister of Information Science and Technology, attended the ceremony as Chief Guest while Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shallwani and Member Advisory Board Ministry of IT Aman Pir were the Guest of Honor.
Sindh Provincial Minister of Information Science and Technology Nawab Taimur Talpur said that the Government of Sindh is taking revolutionary initiatives in the field of IT, including the establishment of an IT Advisory Board in Sindh for the first time. He said that Sindh’s IT Ministry welcomes new software engineers to solve social problems.
The Conference also inaugurated a mobile application health solution designed to solve health problems in Sindh through IT, in which Nawab Taimur Talpur appreciated the facility of blood donation, medicine consultancy etc.
Addressing the ceremony, Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shallwani said that the IT conference was a milestone by the Professional Youth Foundation and the youth of Karachi are taking revolutionary steps in the field of IT which is commendable. Commissioner Karachi also desired that the IT conference should continue and emphasized the importance technology in solving urban problems. On the occasion, Justice of Peace Mohammad Aman Pir, Member Advisory Board of Ministry of IT and Member Advisory Council of the Professional Youth Foundation, welcomed the honorable guests.
President Professional Youth Foundation, Muhammad Umar Khan, assured the Minister the voluntary services of engineers. Dr. Sana Adnan, CEO of Health Solutions gave a briefing on the utility of the application, while Adnan Chishti, CEO of Engitech thanked all the participants for their arrival. Earlier in the conference, opening remarks were given by COO Qazi Noman Mujahid, while the participants included Chairman Intermediate Board Professor Inam, UIT Professor Shoaib, PNS Rahat Commander Dr Zubair, FPCCI Convener Blood Banks Dr Zahid Ansari and others who addressed during the conference.
