KARACHI: This year, EBM has been placed among the Top 13 “Best Places to Work” across various industries in Pakistan as well as Number 1 in the FMCG category. Through decades of its operations, English Biscuit Manufacturers (Private) Limited has strived to reach new heights, especially when it comes to its products. Their continuous efforts have been acknowledged by the industry time and time again.
This list is compiled and issued after a thorough survey carried out by the ‘Pakistan Society of Human Resource Management’ (PSHRM) and ‘Engage Consulting’. It was introduced in the year 2008, when it started conducting the survey every alternate year. For the year 2019, a total of 27 MNCs and 28 local organizations participated. The survey measured the level of engagement and commitment of employees with respect to their organization and its vision.
EBM has won this accolade for the third time this year. Its continuous recognition in this prestigious list has proved EBM’s dedication and commitment towards creating and delivering the best workplace for their employees. The global vision of enriching employees’ work-environment with the best offerings, has been implemented by EBM in Pakistan. By investing in its workforce, EBM has ensured that its people get continuous growth, training and job-enrichment opportunities, as EBM considers its employees to be the most valuable assets of the enterprise.
Commenting on this great achievement, EBM’s Managing Director and CEO, Dr. Zeelaf Munir stated: “It is an honour to be recognized as the “Best Place to Work” in the FMCG sector. This win is a testament to our values and principles built over 50 years of operations along with EBM’s progressive outlook towards development. We believe that good culture attracts and retains good people for the long term”. She further added, “EBM has always maintained a performance driven culture with an emphasis on achieving excellence.
