MUSCAT: In line with its commitment to social responsibility, Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, is proud to support the nation’s Paralympic Team, which recently competed in the Second West Asian Paralympic Games, 2019 held in Amman, Jordan.
Supporting Oman’s parathletes is one component of the airline’s corporate social responsibility activities and an essential part of its efforts to help create a fully integrated society. Oman Air works closely with official and private institutions to create partnerships that serve every member of society.
Joining more than 700 athletes from 13 countries and competing in several events, the Omani delegation consisted of 45 people; Omani athletes won 7 gold medals, 6 silver and 6 bronze, in track and field events.
Over the years, Oman Air has earned a considerable number of awards for corporate social responsibility, including the International CSR Excellence Award in the Best Initiative Category, in recognition of our Emission Reduction Programme.
Community service is one of Oman Air’s core values and communities are among the key partners in the company’s business system.
