GIIS Dubai students wins first place at Science India Forum Innovation Fest 2019

DUBAI: Students of Global Indian International School in Dubai showcased great creativity and won first place in the poster making competition at the recently held Science India Forum Innovation Fest 2019. The Innovation Fest 2019 was conducted by Science India Forum UAE in association with the Indian Embassy and the Government of India. Two GIIS Dubai students, Malavika Mungre of grade 6 and Anna Annex of grade 7,together bagged the first position in the Poster Making Competition.

The Innovation fest was held over 1st and 2nd November in Bilva India School, Al Qusais, Dubai where a wide variety of innovative and interactive events and competitions were conducted to inspire creativity in young students. These competitions were aimed at helping students develop a scientific temperament and inquisitive learning approach. The Innovation Fest saw huge participation of young minds from over 75 schools across Abu Dhabi , Al Ain , Dubai , RAK and Sharjah. A thousand students participated in various competitions themed around science, technology, and creative learning, showcasing some incredible talents.
