DUBAI: A group of ENOC employees recently returned from ‘Umrah’, as part of the “ENOC Umraht Al Khair” initiative, organised by the Group to reward its long serving employees who have never been able to perform ‘Umrah’, by offering them an opportunity to visit the Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah.

Fully funded by ENOC, the initiative is in line with the Year of Tolerance, which encourages the spirit of inclusion and acceptance while devoting efforts to build a tolerant society.

60 employees of non-supervisory and operational positions were selected based on performance and years of service at ENOC to take part in an eight-day Umrah trip from the 7th to the 15th of November 2019. They were accompanied by three guides assigned by the Group to manage the trip and offer guidance to employees throughout their Umrah journey, which included visits to religious sites in Makkah and Madina.

His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO at ENOC Group, said: “We set our corporate social responsibility objectives to support the UAE Government’s efforts towards a happier and inclusive society.

“Our employees are the driving force behind ENOC’s success, and their happiness is important to us. Through this programme, we hope to express our gratitude towards the efforts every one of these 60 employees has helped us achieve our goals over the last decade and beyond.”
