KARACHI: The Nest I/O is hosting a fireside chat with Faraz Hoodbhoy, Director, Ecosystem & Outreach at AT&T, on Technology Entrepreneur’s Journey and the upcoming opportunities in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning on Tuesday 3rd Dec 2019, from 5.30 – 7.30 pm at The Nest I/O.
Faraz was the Founder & CEO of PixSense, a mobile social networking company with 40M subscribers which he successfully exited in 2011. Faraz currently leads AT&T’s Ecosystem & Innovation team’s Outreach & Equity programs at the AT&T Foundry which is a part of the 5G Architecture and Wireless Technology team. Faraz & his team helped lay the groundwork for much of AT&T’s strategy around edge computing in the context of 5G activities and remains closely involved in AT&T’s 5G strategic planning & initiatives.
An engineer from Rensselaer, Faraz is the co-author of “Applied XML – A Toolkit for Programmers”.
Faraz teaches entrepreneurship at UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering where he’s an Industry Fellow at the Sutarjda Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology and course mentor for the past 8 years.
