KARACHI: Schole International Academy hosted their 2nd Annual Sports Day on the 7th of December, 2019. The opening ceremony was a blast, and the event had great performances including Gymnastics, Kung Fu and Taekwondo displays.
The event was made all the more exuberant by our esteemed Chief Guests, which included honourable dignitaries like: Mr. Iftikhar Shallwani, Commissioner, Karachi, Syed Salahuddin, Deputy Commissioner, South, Humayun Khan, President, Rotary – Coastal City, Karachi, Danish Khan, Member of FPCCI, Mrs. Fauzia Parekh, Principal, Ilmesters Academy, Ms. Rabiya Shehzad, National Weightlifting Champion, Farhan Essa, CEO, Essa Laboratories and a few others, who took out time from their busy schedules to cheer our students.
The students and the whole Schole Faculty & Administrative team portrayed utmost enthusiasm and confidence in their performances, which were reflected in their chants and encouragements. Mr. Shallwani, the Commissioner, himself, personally applauded the team’s efforts and excitement, and was grateful to be a part of such an amazing event.
The Greeks – Blue House won again this year, though, as Mr. Abdullah Akhtar, Head of School, Schole and Mrs. Sonia Longi, Principal, Schole) put it, there is no one winner or loser, it is a team effort, and everyone is a champion. News Desk
