DUBAI: Carrefour, which is operated in the UAE by Majid Al Futtaim, partnered with Travelex to add foreign currency to their offerings. Travelex have already opened a dedicated section inside Carrefour Mall of the Emirates and Carrefour Marina Crown Tower.
This new addition to Carrefour stores will allow customers to transfer and exchange money while shopping, making Carrefour stores a one stop shop for everyone at any time.
Apart from being a competitive foreign exchange specialist, Travelex offers a variety of services including remittances, the ability to pre-book rates, as well as its “Same Rate Guarantee” offer, whichallows customersto return their unused currency at the same rate they purchased them, giving them peace of mind when traveling abroad.
The agreement between Carrefour and Travelex is currently in its pilot phase, with a regional expansion to follow in the future. News Desk
