CAIRO: Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research of Egypt, the first edition of AEEDC Education Cairo Conference and Exhibition officially opened yesterday at Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski in Cairo. Running until the 14th of December, 2019, the 3-day dental gathering in Cairo,dedicated to dentists, surgeons and experts, aims to create a highly educational and scientific platform in order to exchange the most updated dental knowledge, improve our understanding and highlight the key trends and technology advances taking place in the field of dentistry.
The official ribbon cutting ceremony was held in the presence of Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of AEEDC Education Cairo, Dr. Meshari Alotaibi, President of Makkah Dental Conference & Exhibition, Dr. Tariq Khoory, Conference Chairman, AEEDC Education Cairo, Dr. Raafat Hassan Anwar Reyad, Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Oral and Dental Healthcare Services and the Scientific Advisor of AEEDC Education Cairo, Dr. NahawandThabet, Head of Scientific Committee, AEEDC Education Cairo, Prof. Dr. Khaled Abo Elfadl, President of the Higher Council of the Egyptian Universities and Professor of Oral Periodontology, Retired Major General Harb Mohsen El Shazly, Former Chief of Armed Forces, Operations Staff, Egypt, Dr. MajdNaji, Member of American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Chairman of Liberty Medical Group and Eng. Anas Al Madani, Vice Chairman and Group CEO, INDEX Holding, along with a number of key figures in the field of dentistry, presidents of union, associations, and universities and deans of dental colleges. Following the opening ceremony, the delegation toured the exhibition area where they were briefed about the latest trends, tools and technology advances in the dental field.
