KARACHI: Rahgeer, connecting top talent to careers with meaningful impact, launched its initiative with the aim to inspire the future global leaders to pursue careers with business events, professional gatherings and corporate visits.

Businessman, Rotarians, media and civil society people attended the event.  Ahmad Jalal, the Ragheer founder said that Rahgeer understands that program participants may fly from across the world and have different demands on timings, dates and airlines which is why we let participants arrange their own flights.

Rahgeer is creation of the Harvard Kennedy School graduates who identified an interest for growth market work experience through the many requests they got from fellow students about internships in Pakistan. The absence of a structured mechanism to connect with credible organizations meant that few international graduates interned in Pakistan.

Rahgeer screens and evaluates social enterprises, start-ups, NGOs and government bodies for quality of work, impact and credibility and then connects their internship opportunities to international graduate students. In addition, Rahgeer Ambassadors facilitate transition to working and living in Pakistan. This is a private initiative of public service.

Ahmad Jalal is the Founder of Cordoba Ventures, an impact investment holding company, developing operating platforms for the middle income segment in the healthcare and education sectors in Pakistan.

Johan Bjurman Bergman is an Advisor to Cordoba Ventures and the former Director of Strategic Alliances at the Hult Prize Foundation. He is a co-founder of On-The-Ground, an education platform developing leaders through immersion into humanitarian crises. Johan has been recognized as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum.
