KARACHI: INJAZ Pakistan is organizing FLI Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday, 24th December 2019 at local hotel in Karachi.
The stated vision for Financial Inclusion in Pakistan maintains that “Individuals and firms can access and use a range of quality payments, savings, credit and insurance services which meet their needs with dignity and fairness”
However the level of financial inclusion in Pakistan is 10.3%, being one of the lowest in the South Asian region with the expected average of 33%, hence The State Bank of Pakistan has developed a National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS) for building a dynamic and inclusive financial sector in order to support Pakistan’s economic growth in the 21st century. As part of their strategic target for 2020, SBP aims at a 50% increase in adults maintaining formal accounts, 25% increase in females having access to financial assistance and financial access points.
In line with the NFIS, INJAZ Pakistan in collaboration with The Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands aims to economically empower 18 to 30 year-old females not only through its financial literacy program but also by financial inclusion into the economic ecosystem by inducing a spirit of entrepreneurship into their minds so they can pace up towards financial independence.
