KARACHI: Friends of Burns Centre organized the Children’s Poster Contest Awarding Ceremony held at ZVMG Rangoonwala Community Centre on January 15, 2020.
Mr. Anwar Maqsood – well known scriptwriter was the chief guest on the occasion stating the importance of awareness promoting sessions through children regarding prevention from burn injuries.
Mr. M. Farhan Hanif, Vice President – Friends of Burns Centre spoke that how Burns Centre is helping people to recover from their cruel burns injuries by giving them best possible facility with 100% free treatment.
45 Schools have participated in this awareness activity and submitted 1,007 poster entries on the theme “Prevention From Burn Injury & First Aid”. Out of which 115 fine posters (62 Junior Category & 53 Senior Category) are exhibited from 15th January 2020 to 18th January 2020 at V. M. Art Gallery, ZVMG Rangoonwala Community Centre.
Alizay Ajaz Class V – Blue student of Sun Academy secured 1st Position, Abdullah Fahim Class IV – Blue student of Sun Academy secured 2nd Position, Wajid Hussain Class IV – Blue student of Sun Academy secured 3rd Position in Junior Category and Muniza Nadeem Class XI Rose student of H. B. Malik Public School secured 1st Position, Maham Rizwan Class IX – B student of Aitchison Model School secured 2nd Position, Marium Syed Class IX – A student of The Educators – Gulshan-e-Iqbal Campus II secured 3rd Position in Senior Category.
Mr. M. Abdullah Feroz, Founding President & Member Executive Committee – Friends of Burns Centre gave vote of thanks to the event sponsors, National Bank of Pakistan, Haseen Habeeb Trading (Pvt.)
