“Nutra” attracts attention of natural healthy food seekers at Gulfood 2020

DUBAI: Al-Foah Company, a subsidiary of SENAAT that is owned by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi participates in the 25th edition of Gulfood Exhibition at Dubai World Trade Centre under “Rethinking Food” theme, from 16 to 20 of this month (February).

Al Foah’s participation this year is special as it includes a wide range of innovative products for sub brands, such as Date Crown, Zadina and Nutra that was launched last year. It is expected that the new innovative products of Nutra will be highly demanded by all customers, especially that the available products always put the customers as the first priority by studying the various needs of different people and tastes.

From his side, H.E. Eng. Dhafer Ayed Al Ahbabi, Chairman of Al Foah Board of Directors, said that Al Foah aims to participate in Gulfood Exhibition each year because of it its importance as the globally largest annual commercial event in food and beverages sector. In addition, such exhibition is a chance to meet traders and individuals interested in this important sector. H.E. also pointed to the importance of Al Foah’s leading role as the locally and globally leading company in the development of palm trees and dates section inside the UAE. Al Foah is dealing with +25,000 farmers from all over the Emirates, who come every year to market for luxurious Emirati dates at Al Foah at dates marketing season that starts from the end of July and lasts to the beginning of November. H.E. Al Ahbabi also expressed his excitement and pride that Al Foah’s brands reached nearly 50 countries all over the world.

About the excellence in Al Foah’s participation this year, H.E. Musallam Obaid Al Ameri, Chief Executive Officer, stated that Al Foah’s participation in Gulfood is a chance to enter into commercial relations with those interested in dates and looking for healthy food. We exploited the chance of the silver jubilee this year to launch new products of different brands, such as Date Crown and Nutra; the latter is a category of natural and healthy products that provide the body with great energy and proteins for its contents of vitamins and minerals. The innovative products of Nutra dates come in three categories. They are dates stuffed with roasted California almonds and covered with luscious Belgian chocolate variants (white, dark, milk and Ruby chocolate with its bright pink color). In addition, Al-Foah celebrates the launch of date energy bars, which come in four types that meet the desire of consumers looking for health and activity. These are dates mixed with nuts, such as pistachios or almonds, as well as mixed nuts or natural dates only.

Regarding the same, H.E. Mohammed Ghanim Al Qusaili Al Mansouri, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, indicated that Al-Foah was keen to offer a variety of new and innovative products from Date Crown in order to meet emerging trends and keep pace with the changing choices of consumers. This luxurious group uses the high quality dates of the highly and internationally demanded Medjool dates that are distinguished by the large size, wonderful taste and smooth texture. This is in addition to a group of dates with chocolate that is stuffed with roasted almonds, which come with either dark chocolate or milk to satisfy all tastes. Moreover, H.E. Al-Mansoori said that Al Foah’s suite this year is larger than the last year to reflect the importance of participation and growing annual demand for Al Foah products of luxurious dates.

It is worth mentioning that the offered products this year are Nutra, Date Crown and Zadina; the latest includes a wide range of products, including but not limited to, besr juice, date halawa of different tastes, date pieces covered with the best Belgian chocolate, and packages of date syrup, date stuffed with almond and luscious desserts to satisfy all the tastes.

Gulfood Exhibition is expected to attract more than 98,000 visitors, including people looking for new business opportunities and others interested in discovering the latest products and innovations in the food and beverages industry. This was the number of visitors the last year, which was the largest edition of the exhibition so far.
