DUBAI: The Okhai Memon Youth Services is one of the prominent social welfare organizations working since last 50 years to uplift the Education standards amongst Okhai Memon Community. The organization was formed by Late Muhammad Usman Kath. The mission & vision has carried by youth of Okhai Memon Community and Alhamdulillah, OMYS is now performing as a welfare industry among Okhai Memon Community.
According to Bye laws defined by Constitution, OMYS Election for the term 2020-21 has been taken place on 23rd February 2020 at SAJ Academy, Hussainabad, Federal B Area, Karachi between 03:00 p.m to 06:00 p.m. Election commissioner called Nomination for five Office Bearers and ten Executive Council members. Community youngsters shown great interest by filing their nominations by 08th February 2020. Afterwards few of members took retirement from contenting elections. At end 10 members of Office Bearers & 23 Members for Executive Council stood about contesting elections. Mr. Usama Iqbal Darbar has been elected unopposed, as other candidates for VP took withdrawal or retirement before elections. Election conducted in a very peaceful manner, Election Commissioner and his committee put their remarkable effort for successful transmission of democratic process.
The Election Commission announced the result on the same day and under noted candidates has been elected as Office Bearers and Members Executive Council.
The office Office Bearers are Dr. Aqib Javed Abdul Rasheed Vayani, President, Muhammad Usama Muhammad Iqbal Darbar, Vice President, Azeem Moosa Vayani, General Secretary, Abdul Haseeb Muhammad Hussain Vayani, Joint Secretary and Umair Abdul Qadir Markatiya, Treasure.
OMYS Members Executive Council are Abdul Wahab Muhammad Younus Kath, Abdul Sattar Abdul Wahid Gatta, Zain-ul-Abedin Ebrahim Pasta, Shahzad Ahmed Moosa Murad, Muhammad Zeeshan Abubakar Jakhura, Muhammad Danish Muhammad Suleman Ghaziani, Muhammad Akif Hanif Suriya, Hafiz Muhammad Junaid Muhammad Haroon Gaziani, Usman Abdullah Punjwani and Usama Saleh Muhammad Barai.
