KARACHI: A well-attended and participated meeting took place here at FPCCI earlier today in which some very valuable suggestions were floated. The participants, who hailed from different backgrounds brought fresh perspectives to the challenges facing tourism development in Pakistan, and how they could be met.
Among those who attended were members of the standing committee on tourism, Vice President FPCCI, Zubair Baweja, renowned artist and philanthropist Jimmy Engineer who has seen all of Pakistan on foot and Adeel Shehzad MPA.
The committee discussed its vision, mission statement and objectives and is hopeful that in the brief tenure that it will enjoy, will be able to contribute fruitfully to the development of the tourism sector and in promoting a soft image of Pakistan abroad.
