KARACHI: The NdcTech, an award winning partner and Temenos (the world’s #1 Banking Software) have joined hands for success of Pakistan’s first Digital Conference 2020 being organized on April 15th, 2020 in Karachi as a gold sponsor.

Conference is being organized by AMFCO Technologies in collaboration with IBA-CICT as academic partner and ISACA Karachi Chapter as supporting body.

NdcTech has been leading the digital transformations in Pakistan’s financial sector for over 20 years by offering unmatched services and innovation in the areas of banking and non-banking financial institutes. It has also collaborated with some of the biggest banks and financial institutions in Pakistan, MEA and APAC markets to transform them digitally and solve their toughest challenges by driving innovations to create new products and business models, a press release mentioned here on Wednesday.

The Temenos is a global leader in digital financial services providing state-of-the-art omni-channel mobile and digital banking applications, underpinned by market leading core banking with comprehensive fraud management, payments, and analytics systems. Over 3,000 firms across the globe, including 41 of the world’s top 50 banks, rely on Temenos to process the client interactions and daily transactions of more than 500 million banking customers, it stated.

“Today Banks are working hard to address changing consumer expectations. While they’ve benefited from their technological investments, banks are evolving to adopt next-generation technologies. More than half of banking executives expect that in three years future ready platforms and technologies used to improve operations will have the biggest impact on their business,” said Ammara Masood, CEO and President NdcTech.

“Banks are carefully measuring how digital transformation is moving the bottom line as they prepare for the sea change in the industry. Key to building the technological foundation will be gradually migrating away from legacy systems while strategically bringing in emerging technologies. Majority of the banking executives’ state updating their legacy technology without disrupting day-to-day business activities is a major challenge, followed by lack of change management expertise and lack of qualified employees with skills to operate new technologies is a major obstacle in the financial services industry overall, she added.

“Overcoming these challenges is no small feat and we appreciate the Government of Pakistan efforts to further boost the IT industry and pave the way for the industry stakeholder in creating jobs for the thousands of young graduates envisioning a future in IT industry. We believe that Pakistan needs to be a part of digital revolution across the globe and welcome this initiative by AMFCO of bringing together professionals, tech experts, industry leaders and government officials in digital awakening across the nation by providing a platform for the stakeholders in discussing five main pillars of Digital Pakistan i.e. Access & Connectivity, Digital Infrastructure, eGovernment, Digital Skilling & Training and Innovation & Entrepreneurship,” Ammara Masood concluded
