A Friends of Society for Children in Need of Special Attention (SCINOSA) organised a fun filled evening with a game of Bingo followed by Hi-tea on Sunday, March 8, 2020. Almost the guest are 200 in number, the event was a great success and raised funds to update the physiotherapy room for their students.
It’s a great privilege to attend these type of events. The members of SCINOSA doing a great job to helping and giving the care and attentions to these children’s it was mind boggling. I wish that people must visit SCINOSA and lend out a helping hand in the little way they can. And also we should teach our kids too in early ages how to help n support these types of establishments.
SCINOSA was founded in 1960 and the first governing body was elected on 11th February, by Mr. A.S. Muslim. Mr. Muslim had just been a parent whose first-born son had Down syndrome. In the late 1950s in Pakistan, he searched in vain for a qualified person who could guide him in finding ways to help his son. In desperation, he finally wrote a letter in a newspaper urging parent, doctors just anybody who had some knowledge about mental retardation to come forward to ease his plight.
