RIGA: After performing duties as Deputy Chairman and member of the Supervisory Board of airBaltic for three full terms, Kaspars Briškens as of April 25 will leave the position to focus on other professional challenges.
Niks Bulmanis, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of airBaltic: “During the previous eight years, Kaspars Briškens played an instrumental role in ensuring the restructuring of the company, and preparing it for its successful growth, including ordering new Airbus A220-300 aircraft, attracting a private investor and developing company’s new business plan Destination 2025. Among many other good qualities, I most value his analytic and strategic capacity and urge to accept constructive challenges, coupled with a passion for and deep understanding of aviation. On behalf of airBaltic we are very thankful for his contribution and we wish Kaspars all the best in his future career.”
Kaspars Briškens: “Since 2012, I have been privileged to be part of the world-class team behind the transformation of airBaltic into a true cornerstone of strategic connectivity for Latvia and Baltics, a successful launch customer of our generation’s most innovative narrow-body aircraft and the world’s most punctual airline. I wish airBaltic resilience in the face of extraordinary challenges the aviation industry is currently facing and continued success going forward.” BIZ TODAY MONITOR
