KARACHI: Well-known industrialist and social figure Haji Rafiq Pardesi hosted awareness sessions for the treatment of coronavirus in light of Islam and its precautions at his residence.
Maulana Bashir Farooqui, Founder Saylani Welfare Trust, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Chairman Ruwit-e-Hilal Committee, Mufti Abid Mubarak, Sarwat Ejaz Qadri, Dr. Farhan Essa, Dr. Waris Ahmed, Mohsin Sheikhani, Chairman ABAD, Abdul Rashid Godel, Nadeem Moazji, Mahmood Ahmad Khan besides scholars, doctors and business community participated in large numbers.
Addressing the session, Chairman Ruwit Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said, who have blessed me with their valuable advice. I also have doctors in my family and I also love to write and I have also written a column on this global epidemic coronavirus. He said that isolation ward means solitary patient where the patient has to be treated satisfactorily while living. He has been made a darul khoof due to which people like to die and do not like to go to isolation. He said that a climate of trust is needed for healing. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the government to improve the environment of isolation and restore the confidence of the citizens. He said that we should take precautionary measures and follow the advice of doctors.
Haji Rafiq Pardesi also showed a documentary to the participants of the event based on the current dire situation in the suburbs of the city how the people of the rural areas are living in filth and are forced to drink dirty water. When will the government wake up from sleep? How long will the poor people continue to live a life below the poverty line?
