Careem resumes ride services in Karachi with mandatory SOPs

KARACHI: As per the government’s revised guidelines, Careem resumed ride services in Karachi city with mandatory SOPs.
SOPs for Captains:
• Wear masks & gloves at all times while in-ride
• Availability of hand sanitizers / wipes
• Disinfect the handles of the vehicle frequently
• Maximum two customers in a vehicle
SOPs for Customers:
• Wear masks at all times while in-ride
• Sit on the rear seat of the vehicle in case of single customer
• Maximum two customers in a vehicle
If safety SOPs are not followed, government action can be taken.
Captains & Customers, both are obligated to follow the guidelines – in case of non-compliance, rides can be canceled by either party.
