Yousuf Kandawala: A silent social worker “Our tribute to his social work”

LONDON: Late. Yousuf Kandawala was born in Karachi in 1940. His father K U Kandawala was well known personality of memon community. Yousuf Kandawala from his early age started his social work, after finishing his early education.

He joined HBL, soon he become the part of HBL officer union where he was always at frontline to safeguard the rights of HBL employees. He served as General Secretary of “Habib Bank Officier Union”.

After his retirement, he diverted his energy and time to serve Okhai Memon community. He was hardcore social worker. He served as administrator of Usman Memorial Hospital as well as play a important role in Okhai Memon Housing Foundation.

We raise our hand for this silent social worker with deepest sorrow and pray to Allah al-mighty to grant him the highest place in hereafter. Aameen.
