An Airbus Expert was one of the virtual forum’s presenters, in which he spoke about the communication and collaboration solution and how it could deliver faster, more reliable and better emergency response and public safety protection.
Global experts from the fields of industry, academics, and research attended the presentation which pointed to the benefits of using hybrid mission-critical and secure communications over LTE and 5G broadband networks compared to systems operating over narrowband networks. As an example mentioned by the expert, the features of Airbus’ all-in-one Tactilon Agnet MCPTT, a public safety solution that is compliant with the international telecommunications standards of the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP).
Airbus’ Tactilon Agnet MCPTT and its integration with an LTE or 5G network in 3GPP, offers smart device users with a redefined secure group communication and cooperation. Equipped with advanced features, the collaboration platform ensures high-speed and real-time voice, data, video, and location services and private and group messaging. Public safety entities and organizations from various industry verticals such as oil and gas and transportation can fully use the solution and gain in emergency response time and have enhanced protection of critical assets.
Andrew Forbes, Head of Middle East and North Africa region for Secure Land Communications at Airbus, says:“The forum allowed us to not only showcase Secure Land Communications (SLC) on the global stage, but it has provided us with an ideal venue to highlight the reliability of our Tactilon Agnet MCPTT solution. As the world moves steadily towards the gradual development and adoption of 5G and applications, we are continuously evolving in parallel to ensure that our communication and collaboration technologies remain innovative and ahead of the game.”
