The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia visited Larkana on 16 – 17 October 2020 to promote and enhance cooperation for trade and people-to-people contact.
During the meeting with Commissioner Larkana Division, Indonesian Consul General had the opportunity to discuss plans to maintain the Sukarno Tower as Indonesian heritage building, located in the middle of the city. The meeting also discussed possibilities to develop more cooperation in fields of education and agriculture.
In efforts to encourage the participation of business communities at the 2020 Trade Expo Indonesia – Virtual Exhibition (TEI-VE), the Indonesian Consul General also met with the Larkana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) to promote and present about the event, where Pakistan-based business communities can participate for free and develop business contacts with companies in Indonesia.
Similarly, in Hyderabad and Dadu (21 and 26 October), the Indonesian Consul General also met with respective trade Chambers invited them to take part the virtual trade exhibition.
In addition to virtual exhibition, the TEI-VE 2020 event is also supplemented with various programs, from B2B meetings, online seminars, and regional discussions.
On all those occasions, the Indonesian Consulate also announced the digital inquiry system, which can be accessed by business actors who are interested in further establishing trade cooperation with Indonesia, both in the form of imports, exports, and investments.
