DUBAI: With the coronavirus pandemic putting regular Christmas travel plans on ice for many UAE residents, Rajasthan Royals Academy UAE are providing a five-day Xmas Camp from 20-24 December at The Dubai Sevens Stadium to help keep kids active over the festive period.
With school out, the Rajasthan Royals Academy UAE – which officially operates under the banner of inaugural IPL winners Rajasthan Royals – will provide fun-packed cricket camps for boys and girls in both U7-U9 and U10-U16 age groups.
Rajasthan Royals Cricket Camps are designed to give players the opportunity to progressively develop their cricket and life skills in a fun, positive environment that allows the kids to train like the pros as they learn to Play the Royals Way.
Over the course of the five-day camps, players will learn about all areas of the game under the guidance of a vastly experienced international coaching team, led by Rajasthan Royals Academy UAE academy director and former Zimbabwe captain Graeme Creamer.
Children from the ages of five to nine can take part in the U7-U9 age group, while kids from 10 to 16-years-old are welcomed in the U10-U16 category. Sessions – running from Sunday to Thursday – for the U7-U9s will run from 09:00-12:00, with the older U10-U16 sessions taking place from 13:00-16:00.
The full week will cost just Dhs 800, with individual days available to attend for Dhs 170 per child and an extra hour (08:00-09:00 for U7-U9s, 16:00-17:00 for U10-U16s) there to help parents who need a bit more flexibility around work hours at a cost of Dhs 50 per day.
Interested parties can book one of the limited spots for the Xmas Camp at https://rajasthanroyalsacademyuae.com, https://bit.ly/RRAXmasCamp and by calling us directly or sending a message on WhatsApp to +971 52 665 9183. You can also find the academy on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Each day focuses on a different aspect of the game – whether it is batting, bowling, fielding or acquisition of a variety of dynamic skills we see from the Royals’ first team squad that features the likes of Australia’s Steve Smith, India international Sanju Samson and England World Cup winners Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes.
By the end of the week, players will then have the chance to test these skills in structured match situations.
Everyone that takes part will also be in contention to win a Rajasthan Royals shirt signed by the entire team that took part in this year’s competition that was played in the UAE, while new players will also be able to avail a 20 per cent discount on the first terms of the Rajasthan Royals Academy UAE’s terms in 2021.
