ENOC Group has opened a new service station in Umm Al Quwain to meet the fuelling needs of motorists crossing Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from the Northern Emirates to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This brings the total number of service stations by ENOC in the UAE to 150.

The service station is built with five bridged canopy having 10 dispensers; in addition to a standalone Diesel Dispenser island. The station includes a 288 sqft ZOOM C-store, Pronto and other F&B options, as well as parking spaces for trucks and a prayer room.

His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC Group, said: “As part of our expansion plan across the UAE, the new service station is built to meet the needs of motorists crossing one of the busiest highways in the country, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. We are proud to have been able to move ahead with our expansion plans in the Northern Emirates to meet fuel demand despite the challenges we faced this year.”

The station is built in compliance with Um Al Quwain Municipality green standards, with full CCTV surveillance and automatic number plate detection cameras to ensure the highest security.

Safety features include a fully automated fuel system with Auto Tank Gauging and Electronic Leak detection system. The station has a stage one vapour recovery system to capture displaced vapours emerging from a storage tank when gasoline is delivered into the tank and a stage two vapour recovery system to capture displaced vapours emerging from inside a motorist’s fuel tank, when gasoline is dispensed into the tank. This advanced mechanism avoids hazardous emissions to the atmosphere and enhances the nearby air quality.

To further enhance the energy efficiency measures at the service station and reduce its carbon footprint, optimised lighting and illumination design has been made installed with zero maintenance, low-voltage LED lights with a life span of approximately 50,000 hours to reduce the energy consumption by 50 percent.

The station accepts multiple payment methods including ENOCPay, ViP, Nol, and Dubai Now. Customers can also benefit from the ‘Yes’ rewards programme by earning points and rewards when paying for fuel, automotive services or for purchasing convenience store products and groceries; as well as F&B at all stations.
