DUBAI: House of Pops, the UAE’s healthiest, happiest, all-natural brand of ice pops and ice creams, is opening its doors and its heart to the good people who live and work in DIFC.

Marcela Sancho, co-founder of the disruptive dessert company, says: “You might associate our delicious treat ice pop bars and ice creams with the beach, and with relaxation time – but come on, who doesn’t like a lunchtime treat during a hard day’s grind in the office?”

Tired of unhealthy, fattening, high sugar and additive-heavy treats in the frozen section, the House of Pops team is shaking up Dubai’s dull dessert scene with a burst of healthy, happy, colourful treats.

And while they’re off the scale in terms of health benefits – the ice pop fruit sticks and plant-milk based ice creams still feel indulgent and are as tasty as traditional ‘treats’ that do nothing for your health or waistline.

You can even start your day with a refreshing blast of fruit – the Gate District 2 cart opens every day at 10am…and you might even pick up some heavenly, healthy treats on your way home – as it’s open until 7pm.

“As part of our nationwide mission to spread natural happiness, one handcrafted ice treat at a time, we are adding another location to our current Dubai line up – Kite Beach, Khawaneej Walk and our JBR pop spot. We now have our happy-o-meter set on injecting health and happiness into the very corporate surroundings of DIFC,” says Marcela.

And we all know the indulgent fun of an end of the week office treat – what could be nicer than a House of Pops ice cool fruity snack? Marcela is shouting out to all managers to reward their hardworking staff – especially given the tough year we’ve all had – with a healthier than usual, but on less indulgent ice treat, whether it’s a fruit pop or an ice cream bar!

You can choose a selection of frozen treats in a customised ten-pop ‘Happiness Box’, perfect for sharing, celebrating, (or just hiding under your desk with all afternoon), give a bow to the Royal Box which provides five of House of Pops larger ice cream bars for the price of four, or choose eight Keto bars and load them up into your very own bespoke keto box, for the price of six.

“We all know how easy it is to be at your desk and start snacking on bad foods – a chocolate bar here, a cheese sandwich there, so we are trying to help out our hardworking community with a snack they can indulge in guilt-free,” adds the desert dessert diva.

Serving a variety of refreshing mostly fruit-based lollies, the House of Pops range is free from artificial colourings, flavourings, refined sugars, and rich in fibre. They are a fun, delicious way to get closer to your ‘Five A Day’ – and with a growing selection of tropical and traditional ice pop flavours in its Happiness, Keto, and Royal range, you’re spoilt for choice, too.

House of Pops’ fruit-forward ice pops are vegan, featuring up to just five natural main ingredients.

The Happiness range features just five ingredients or less, and is essentially super tasty, super healthy frozen fruit on a stick. While there’s a ‘Fancy Choco’ (cocoa and coconut) one in the range, the rest are fruit and natural sweeteners – but in awesome flavour combos like Super Strawberry, Galactic Lime, Crazy Coconut, Blackberry Lemonade and Pineapple Basil.

House of Pop’s keto range is more akin to ice cream – but unlike any ice cream you’ve ever tasted before. Featuring organic coconut milk and cream, natural fruits and natural sweeteners, these guilt-free treats also feature vegetable fibre for extra health benefits. You can choose from Strawberry, Coffee, Vanilla or Chocolate flavours.

The newest line, Royal Pops, are larger ice cream bars studded with real fruit pieces, making them the perfect healthy snack – and the perfect prize for employee of the week! The funky flavour catwalk includes indulgent Chocolate Banana, Chocolate Strawberry, Coconut Strawberry and Mango Strawberry.

Happiness Pops and Keto ice creams come in 80ml servings, while the Royal Pops clock in at 123ml.

With purity and people at the heart of its brand, House of Pops strives to be good for its customers and the environment. It takes pride in plastic-free biodegradable packaging. The packaging can also be tailored for special occasions, making its allergen-free ice pops perfect for friends and family.

The 80ml varieties are AED 20 (except the keto range AED25), while the 123ml Royal Pops are AED 25. House of Pops can also bring the “cool” factor to companies, festivals, and events with its catering service. Cool down from the comfort of your couch with House of Pops delivered to your door through Deliveroo, Talabat, and Zomato. And you’ll definitely want to hit up the multi-pack offers delivered straight to your door!

House of Pops DIFC is located in DIFC Gate District 2, at the link between Gate Village and Gate District, and open Sunday to Thursday  from 10am to7pm and Friday-Saturday 11am-8pm.
