Masterclass Hospitality Business School signs MoU with KVTC

KARACHI: Karachi Vocational Training Center (KVTC) and Masterclass Hospitality Business School are joining hands to revolutionize the Culinary industry through inclusion. This is the first time in Pakistan that exceptionally abled students have stepped up in the culinary industry and have given our future mainstream chefs a chance to develop patience and resilience towards diversity.

A joint goal was conceived for Striking to Enable the Differently Abled to learn skills and become competent contributing individuals who can play their active role in the mainstream society.

An MOU was endorsed and collaborated, a ceremony took place on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the MasterClass Pakistan – Hospitality Business School, Gulshan e Iqbal, Karachi.

The ceremony was opened by KVTC President – Dr. Akhtar Aziz Khan who emphasized on the abilities of these special people who are marking their names in all walks of life. Our respected General Body member Mr. Qaysar Alam especially joined to commemorate thus collaboration.

The Ceremony will be graced by our honourable Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan. “This collaboration between KVTC and MasterClass Pakistan will definitely open new doors for meaningful careers for the differently-abled in the culinary industry,” said Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, CEO of KVTC. “I believe that it is time that we should all come together no matter what part of society we are from and play our role for an inclusive Pakistan. And I’m glad that MasterClass Pakistan has joined us in this cause.”

Masterclass and KVTC. Two names and One Mission for the youth. This collaboration will steer our vision of impacting the differently-abled towards a more Qaabil Pakistan, said Dr. Akhtar Aziz Khan, the President of KVTC. Usama Ahmed CEO of Masterclass Pakistan endorsed the ceremony that his intuition is always looking forward to providing a better entrepreneurial career for our youth. It’s a great opportunity for Masterclass Pakistan and KVTC to transform these youths into well rewarding professions.

Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, CEO of KVTC were the signatory along with the CEO of Masterclass Mr. Usama and Dr. Akhtar Aziz Khan, the President of KVTC was the witness. MOU ceremony was graced by professionals and leaders from the industries, Kukab Iqbal from Consumer Choice, CEO of Pizza Point Faizan Rawat and Senior Official from Sindh Board of Technical Education Akhtar Shah.

Students of the KVTC Culinary group with the students of Masterclass Pakistan demonstrated their talent by making scrumptious sandwiches and cupcakes. Students were accompanied by Principal – Sana Ayaz, Director Rehabilitation – Amir Shahab, Senior Executive Administration – Farheen Amir, General Body member – Qaysar Alam and all Managing Committee Members.

The KVTC students confidently demonstrated their culinary skills to amaze the guests.
