DUBAI: Emirates Group Security, the industry leader in aviation security services in the UAE, has been awarded one of the highest accolades in the region for business excellence, the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA). Emirates Group Security’s clear demonstration of excellence through strong industry leadership, positive performance, giving back for the benefit of the industry, and continuous improvement across the business helped it secure an award in the Gold category for the second time.
Each assessment cycle, the SKEA Awards follow a rigorous process that adheres to the principles of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). The SKEA team reviews organizations based a variety of benchmarks like leadership, people, strategy, partnerships and resources, processes, products, services and contribution to society.
Expert assessors concluded that Emirates Group Security’s organising and hosting of the AVSEC Global Symposium, a globally recognised forum for key aviation security topics, as well as its support for industry professionals and leaders from developing countries to participate, learn, network and benefit from the Symposium’s offerings was a key factor in its 2021 Gold category win. EGS was also recognised for its dedication to continuous improvement and the implementation of the highest international standards within every discipline across its business.
