I am Ayesha Wajid, founder of Snax Time. I am running my food business successfully from past 8 years. I got married 12 years back and like every other girl thought to be a house wife and never knew will emerge myself as an entrepreneur.
A lil background about my self before I jump to my current business venture. Before marriage i use to live in Jeddah, and after my graduation I wanted to do something. But being a person who can’t have a boss (as I am lil bossy myself, I never settled for any job. Literature had been a prominent part of our family as my grandfather was a teacher n a writer, my father is a poet, so writing was in my genes and hence I started to write articles for Urdu news and a local magazine in Jeddah. That was one thing which satisfied me and I became quite a known personality their.
After my marriage, when I settled in Pakistan, was living my life normally. After some years despite of trying to conceive and I was not able to do so, made me little dishearten, but my husband never let me feel bad and encouraged me to do something. At this time Snax Time came into existence. ALLAH has given a lot of courage, family support and cooking skills in me that I have made my name. Cooking was also again in genes as my mom and grandmother are amazing cook n specialize in Hyderabadi cuisine.
Well, when I started facebook marketing for my business I felt that there are many forums for selling and buying all sort of things from food to clothes but no particular platform to sell food items only. This gave me the idea to form a safe and healthy place for food sellers specially home based food sellers who are not able to run their own page and still want to market their food items. I have a page ‘homemade food services’ where a lot of people from all over Pakistan sell their products and mostly are ladies who do home based cooking business and are very happy that free of cost they are getting opportunity to showcase their amazing food.
I believe in ‘sky is the limit, you just need to open your wings’! There is a lot more I am willing to do and will do. That’s my story.
