With success year after year in Karachi, The Crafter’s Guild successfully hosted it’s first craft fair in Lahore on 21st November at Mocca’s rooftop in Gulberg. 25 craft based ventures, primarily women entrepreneurs exhibited their handcrafted work at the Bohemian Bazaar for Handmade. The event was well attended by families, young people, and others from the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The youngest participant was fifteen years old and represented his fan art and comic based artworks. Others included students, homemakers, and corporate professionals who represented their creative talents.
This platform particularly was a milestone for The Crafter’s Guild and Esnaf, as curating and executing an event of this scale was done for the first time outside Karachi.
Varah Musavvir of The Crafter’s Guild shared this was a novel experience considering the Lahore market was unexplored and definitely deserved a chance to resonate the same ethos in supporting small scale businesses and women led ventures.
With great food, positive energies, and beautiful crafts, Bohemian has made its mark for Happiness is Handmade! With a Karachi feat and event lined up for the capital city of Islamabad, The Crafter’s Guild continues to inspire and make way for local makers to grow across Pakistan.
