KARACHI: Biz Today International launched a distinct project “Fantastic Chefs” on Saturday, 4th December 2021 at Hotel Mehran, Karachi.
Biz Today practically out worked for the corporate sector and local business. We are constantly looking for hidden talents, spending our whole strength in the furtherance and Promotion and garnering them at a platform.
Purpose of our project, “fantastic chefs” is to bring in front, avidest and skillful professionals and home based entrepreneurs. We will bring up training workshops, international conferences, industrial visits, exhibitions, and competitions, to train and improve skills of our distinguished members and to introduce them to different industries, private and public sectors without any charges.
Our host Basma Khan, who is celebrity Chef as well, called Mr. Mohammad Ammar to recite Quranic verses to the start event with the name of Allah.
Then she called upon Mr. Humza Yaqoob Tabani, Chief Executive Officer, Tabani Group of Companies and patron of fantastic chefs for a welcome speech.
Mr. Hamza, appreciated the idea of Biz Today to promote culinary skills in such a distinctive way. He promised his support with this project and shared his precious ideas to excel this project further.
The Chief Guest, His Excellency Johari Bin Minal, Regional Manager – Malaysian Palm Oil Board (West Asia) & Consul – Consulate General of Malaysia, Karachi. Mr. Johri began with congratulating Biz Today for their initiative in founding Fantastic Chefs; he then informed Malaysia and Pakistan have been in brotherly relations since 1957, and proudly reached 64th year. He appreciated collaborations of both counties. He also mentioned the successful three-day official visit of former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohammad to Pakistan in March 2019 that elevated relations to that of Strategic Partnership. The visit is emblematic of the stronger and deeper political, economic and social cooperation between our two countries.
He briefly stated their suffering caused by the pandemic and they now want to re-think and re-evaluate their way to manage their national food systems.
He further shed light on duties of chef; and hoped that Fantastic Chefs will become an inspiration for the nation to adopt healthy dietary patterns and elaborated the importance of nutrients. He further suggested making a balanced and nutritious diet affordable by choosing the right ingredients for your recipes and thinking of the cheaper alternatives that can make the foods equally tasty and nutritious so that the masses can enjoy nutritious food.
Furthermore he hoped fantastic chefs can play the role of promoting sustainable food production in Pakistan. Restaurants can partner with farmers who produce sustainable foods. Finally suggested to promote food safety. Ensure that the kitchen operation is in conformity with food safety standards to avoid contamination, cross contamination, and food poisoning. I think this is the most important aspect above all and full attention must be given on food safety. He wanted to become part of upcoming events and I felt proud when he said; Malaysia-Pakistan Dosti Zindabad.
Guest of Honors Mr. Abdul Jabbar Rathod Executive Director Dreamworld and Q&N flavors was also present. Mr. Yasir Billo, a food critic and well known person, also Ambassador Fantastic chef shared his precious reviews.
Shield distribution started with our chief guest Mr. Johar Bin Minal, he stayed on stage to honor our patron Mr. Hamza Tabani, event gift sponsor Mr. Jabbar Rathore, and Ms. Roohi Akber. Refreshment sponsors, who prepared their homemade scrumptious items. Ayesha, Nadia, Atiya, Farah and Nimra.
HFS (Homemade Food Services by Ayesha Wajid) was the refreshment partner for the launching ceremony. HSF members Nadia Imran Malik of Nano’s kitchenette prepared Assorted Sandwiches. Chicken and mushroom Quiche by Atiya of Sweet and Savory. Cheese and Nuttela Rolls up by Farah Naz of Frozen Dainity. Our Gorgeous cake was sponsored by Namra’s kitchen and event planner. We would like to specially thank Ayesha Wajid for her generous support and event collaboration.
The event ended with Hi-tea, networking and appreciation. Entrepreneurs discussed their concerns with experts and generated new ideas.
