The Consul of Italy in Karachi Mr. Danilo Giurdanlla has arranged a sonography machine from Italy to be gifted to the National Institute of Child Health, the largest public sector children hospital that provides free healthcare for the underprivileged and needy children.
This generous donation was successfully done in collaboration with the Rotary Club in Sicily and Perth. A special ceremony was held today on the 8th of December, 2021 to hand over this machine with the hope that it will contribute to early detection and healing of those children suffering from various diseases.
Especially thanking Mr. Giuseppe Pantano, who was a member of RCK Sunset Millenium for many years during his stay in Karachi. He supported many Community Service Projects through collaboration with Rotary Clubs in Italy and raised funds by inviting Musicians and Artists to perform in Karachi.
Prof. Nasir Salim-Director NICH, Prof. Jamal Raza, President NICH Trust and Ms. Shahzadi Mansoor from the Rotary Club were present at the ceremony and they thanked the Consul Giurdanella and Italian friends for their generous support to the NICH.
